Remote Drum Tracking

Over the last several years I’ve been very interested in the concept of “remote drum tracking”  The idea is that I record drum tracks here at my studio and send them out via the internet (ftp servers, email, etc…) or on CD/DVD’s through snail mail.  This allows me to digitally work with anyone from virtually anywhere in the world without having to meet up and utilize a separate studio.  Of course, I am always available for specific studio work.  However, this service helps cut the cost to the artist while still getting great sounding drum tracks.
I have worked in this capacity on several projects.  You can hear samples of that work below.
I have access to different sounding drum kits and percussion.  I also have access to many microphones and other fun recording gear.  You can see some of my basic gear set up on this page as well.  I’d like to let the sounds on the music samples speak for themselves.

The Basic Process:

• Send me a rough mix/demo of your tune(s) (preferably with a click track) via the internet along with any ideas or musical guidelines/examples you’d like me to follow.
• I record the tracks.
• I then send you a rough mix for your approval.

• If you’d like changes made, contact me with your notes and I’ll take another stab at it.
  (Anything after that will be charged a bit extra)

• I send you the finished files (wav files) in whatever way you’d like (public/private ftp, snail mail, etc..)

My prices are very reasonable and I offer deals for working on more than one song..
